Plastic Land: Bootielicious

...did I just put that in a title? Ugh. Thanks to a hot tip from a reader (yay!), I rediscovered Plasticland, and, with them, these BAD. ASS. booties. LOVING it.

Amazon Stuff: I Love Lamp

Yeah, I liked Anchorman. How cute is this lamp? I've been thinking about lighting a lot lately, and I feel like it's one way to bring in modern elements without having to do that painfully angular thing that so many designers go for when they hear the word "modern." Plus lamps are easy to switch out to change things up.

Karmaloop: Crazy Red

You can call this dress whatever you want, but we all know it's "the dress that one alien chick Kirk tried to get with was wearing."

Edibly Etsy: Gal Stern tights

Okay, I'm going to try to ease back into this with small posts. Have you checked out Gal Stern's tights? Because they are RAD. These ones, "reef," are just the tip of the awesome iceberg.

Ok, guys. Serious question.

I heart me some online shopping. I've still been browsing like crazy, despite the dearth of posts. I've even seen some things I thought, "Oh, hey, that should go on my blog."

But more and more websites are making it a pain in my ass to put images of their merchandise up here.

So... what do I do? I don't think it's likely I'm going to put the effort into doing a screen cap every single time. (So screw you, Modcloth.) What are some places where you like to shop?

P.S. Surgery went fine. Except I kind of suspect my physician is a little too gung-ho and I probably spent longer than I needed to recovering. But I feel better!

Edibly Etsy: tinworks

As not only an ardent Trekkie but also a hobby baker, these cookie cutters fill me with a certain joy one might describe as "indefinable."

Also, oh hai, I can has surgery tomorrow. Wish me luck! It's very minor and I should be fine, but nevertheless I am freaking out like a freak-outer.
